Living The Dream Competitions

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern all competitions run by Living The Dream Competitions. Last updated: 1 April 2026.

Last updated: 1 April 2026

1. Eligibility

Competitions are open to individual UK residents aged 18 or over only. You may be asked to provide proof of age and UK residency before a prize is awarded. Employees, directors and officers of Living The Dream Competitions, members of their immediate families, agents, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter. By entering any competition you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are not acting on behalf of any business or in the course of a trade. Living The Dream Competitions reserves the right to verify eligibility and to refuse entry, or to withhold or withdraw a prize, where an entrant does not meet these criteria or has otherwise breached these Terms.

2. Promoter and Key Information

Each competition is promoted by Jason Grew trading as Living The Dream Competitions ("we", "us", "our"), a UK-based competition operator with a registered office at 34 Carnmore Road, Roslea, Co. Fermanagh, BT92 7BU. Details of the prize, entry price (if any), total number of tickets available (or the basis on which it may be increased), maximum number of entries per person (if applicable), opening date and closing date will be clearly stated on the relevant competition page In the event of any conflict between information on a competition page and these Terms, the information on the competition page will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.

3. How to Enter (Paid Route)

Paid entries may be made via our website during the published competition period. The ticket price, maximum tickets per person, draw date, total number of tickets (or ticket range) and method of selecting the winner are clearly stated on each competition page. To enter via the paid route you must (a) register an account, (b) select your chosen competition and ticket quantity, (c) correctly answer the skill-based question, and (d) complete payment in full before the closing date. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable once submitted, except where we cancel a competition in accordance with these Terms or as otherwise required by law. An entry is not complete, and no ticket number will be allocated, until we have received cleared payment.

4. Free Postal Entry Route

No purchase is necessary to enter any competition. A free postal entry route is available for every competition and provides exactly the same chance of winning as a paid online entry. Entries made via the free route are treated in all respects the same as paid entries and are entered into the same draw using the same random selection process. To enter by post, write your full name, home address, date of birth, email address, the exact name of the competition you wish to enter, the advertised draw date, and your answer to the skill-based question on a plain piece of paper or postcard. Post your entry to our published free-entry address, which is set out on our Free Entry Route page. Only one competition may be entered per envelope. Postal entries must be received by us no later than 5 days before the advertised closing date for the competition. We recommend using first-class post. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, damaged, mis-addressed, illegible or insufficiently pre-paid. One free postal entry is permitted per competition per person per envelope. Bulk entries, entries submitted via agents or third parties, and mechanically or automatically generated entries are not permitted and will be disqualified.

5. Skill-Based Question and Gambling Law

Each competition includes a skill-based question which must be answered correctly for an entry to be valid. The purpose of the question is to ensure that the competition is determined by skill, judgment or knowledge and not pure chance, so that it falls outside the scope of a regulated lottery under the Gambling Act 2005. Questions are designed so that a significant proportion of potential participants will either be deterred from entering, or will not answer correctly. Simple, trivial or obvious questions (for example, questions where the answer is stated nearby) are not used. Only entries with a correct answer will be entered into the draw. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry which we reasonably believe has been submitted with the benefit of unauthorised assistance, including use of automated tools or the sharing of answers.

6. Allocation of Ticket Numbers

Upon receipt of a valid paid or free entry with a correct answer, you will be allocated a unique ticket number (or numbers) for that competition. Ticket numbers are your proof of entry and will be confirmed by email and/or shown in your online account. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are accurate and up to date. We are not responsible for any failure to receive confirmation emails arising from incorrect details or email filtering.

7. The Prize Draw

The prize draw will take place on or shortly after the advertised draw date, or earlier if the maximum number of tickets has been sold and the competition terms permit an early draw. A winner will be selected from all valid entries using a random number generator or other clearly described method of random selection. Where stated on the competition page, we may broadcast the draw live via our website or social media channels and/or make a recording available afterwards. The decision of any independent person overseeing the draw (if applicable) and of Living The Dream Competitions in all matters concerning the selection of winners is final and binding. We reserve the right to postpone a draw for reasons outside our reasonable control, including system failures, security concerns or events affecting the fairness or integrity of the promotion. Any change to the draw date will be communicated on our website and, where appropriate, by email to entrants.

8. Prizes

Details of each prize, including any important restrictions or conditions (for example, age requirements, vehicle specifications, mileage, or delivery limitations), will be clearly described on the competition page. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless specifically stated. Where the competition page expressly allows, we may offer a cash alternative at the value or percentage stated. Physical prizes (such as vehicles or other goods) will be delivered to a UK address agreed with the winner within a reasonable period following winner verification, usually within 14 working days unless otherwise stated. Cash prizes will be paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account in the name of the winner, normally within 5 working days of verification. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control, provided that the replacement does not materially disadvantage entrants. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, insurance, registration, servicing, running costs or other ongoing expenses associated with a prize, unless expressly stated otherwise on the competition page.

9. Winner Notification, Verification and Publicity

The provisional winner will be notified by email, SMS and/or telephone using the contact details provided at registration within 24 hours of the draw, wherever reasonably practicable. If we are unable to contact a provisional winner, or if a provisional winner does not respond within 14 days of our first attempted contact, we reserve the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner using the same random selection process. Before a prize is awarded we may require the winner to provide proof of identity, age and UK residency, and any other documentation reasonably necessary to satisfy our legal and regulatory obligations or to prevent fraud. If a winner fails to provide satisfactory evidence within a reasonable time, we may disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner. By entering a competition, you agree that, if you win, we may (but are not obliged to) use your first name, first initial of your surname, county or region and, where applicable, photographs or video of you with the prize for reasonable publicity in connection with the competition and our business, including on our website and social media channels. You may object to, or withdraw your consent for, such publicity at any time, but this will not affect your entitlement to the prize.

10. Cancellation, Suspension and Disqualification

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a competition where (a) there are events beyond our reasonable control that affect the integrity or proper conduct of the competition, (b) there has been actual or attempted fraud, cheating or abuse affecting the competition, or (c) we are required to do so by law or regulatory guidance. If we cancel a competition before a draw has taken place, we will refund entry fees paid for that competition to the payment method used, or as otherwise required by law. Free postal entries will not be refunded as no payment has been made. We may refuse to award a prize, or may disqualify an entrant, where we reasonably believe that the entrant has breached these Terms, tampered with the entry process, supplied false information, or acted in any way which is fraudulent, dishonest or unlawful.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by law, Living The Dream Competitions and its officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for (a) any loss, damage, costs or expenses arising out of your participation (or attempted participation) in any competition, or out of your use of, or inability to use, any prize, which is not reasonably foreseeable; (b) any loss of profits, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss; or (c) any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to network failures, system errors, or third-party service outages.

12. Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with competitions will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018. We will use your data to administer competitions, to communicate with you regarding your entries and any prizes, and, where you have given separate consent, to send you marketing communications. We will not sell your personal data. We may share it with carefully selected third-party providers who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, verifying winners, delivering prizes or providing analytics, subject to appropriate contracts that protect your data.

13. General

These Terms, together with any competition-specific terms on the relevant competition page, set out the entire agreement between you and Living The Dream Competitions in relation to the competitions and supersede any prior representations or communications. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the competitions or these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time where reasonably necessary, for example to reflect changes in applicable law or regulatory guidance. Any updated version will be published on our website and will apply to competitions opened after the date of publication.
